Anticipating Tactical Changes Mid-Match

Discipline 4: Game Intelligence — Lesson 10 of 12
Lecturer: Nadia Fairweather

Most tactical shifts are signalled before they're executed. This session covers watching the opposition bench around substitutions, identifying what a change is designed to stop, and communicating a spotted change to the whole team immediately.

The three rules

1. Watch the bench, not just the ball.
2. Identify what the change targets.
3. Communicate it to the whole team.

*The full breakdown — citations, the lecturer's own story, and the discipline's quiz bank — is part of the Spy Academy programme.*
