Exploiting Numerical Overloads in the Final Third

Exploiting Numerical Overloads in the Final Third

Discipline 4: Game Intelligence — Lesson 12 of 12
Lecturer: Nadia Fairweather

Overloads are brief, and hesitation closes them. This session covers recognising an overload the moment it forms, committing an extra runner immediately, and finishing quickly rather than resetting possession.

The three rules

1. Recognise the overload immediately.
2. Commit an extra runner at once.
3. Finish quickly, don't reset.
